Traditional restaurant in a rustic style with an original wooden beam ceiling with rustic wooden cladding. Outside there is a nice, large beer garden with a view of the Neckar. On the menu are e.g. Cooked cheese schnitzel, ravioli, bratwurst and rump steak. There is draft beer, wine and cider to drink here. The service is extremely quick and friendly.

Very tasty food. Portions are a decent size and there is even a side dish on request.

Very good German cuisine, cozy inn. We keep going back there. I really recommend it.

Very nice, especially in the evening and easy to reach by bike. However, since it can be very crowded, especially on the weekend, it is worth reserving a table in advance, which is unfortunately only possible in person.

We celebrated our wedding here 8 years ago and thought we'd stop by again. Unfortunately, the owner has changed in the meantime ... And you can tell that too. The staff does their job (more or less). Friendliness is now rather small. It's more of a feeling of "handling". We have been sitting in front of empty glasses for a good half an hour. Getting a waiter is difficult as one is successfully ignored. The food ... well, enough for a pit stop. The menu is also more than clear. It's still cozy. Will we come back again? No.

Nice restaurant right on the Neckar with delicious, hearty dishes and tasty beer - just the thing after a bike tour. However, orders do not always go smoothly.

As beautiful as ever ... but unfortunately only until 31.12.20 :(

The positive aspect of this restaurant is it's location: situated nicely next to the Neckar River and close to a farm with horses and other animals. Unfortunately that's the only positive element. On the flipside, the hospitality is non-existent, the staff is rude and not very respectful and the waiting time to order, receive the food and to pay the bill is simply a joke. It takes ages even though their menu is rather small and there are actually some waiters and waitresses but they don't seem to have proper work ethics. It's a shame as this restaurant could be so much more...

Very nice restaurant to sit outside. Easy to reach by bike and car. We ordered two meat dishes and these were juicy and delicious. Why only 4 stars? Sitting in the restaurant looks rather uncomfortable. Conclusion: We will be happy to come back on the next bike tour.

Nice view of the lake, service is quick and friendly. The grill plate was plentiful. Since one of our meals was not particularly warm anymore, I can only give 4 out of 5 stars. A small bathing beach is just around the corner.

Great location, it's great to sit outside. Without reservation one gets only with luck a table. The food is good, not outstanding, but the portions are big and the value for money is right. Therefore full score. The restaurant probably belongs to a farm. Good country air included. Next door you can pet calves. If you are traveling with dog you can before or after the Neckar still nice walk and the water 👍🏻 Parking is enough available, directly in front or a few meters away a separate parking lot. Most of them come by bike.

An authentic place located in a superb location along the Neckar. Great for a lunch and some beer on a sunny day. Traditional and local food (e.g. schnitzel, sausages, maultachen) with some salads, not inspirational or unique in any way yet of solid quality and tastes well. No English menu, but our some of the staff speaks some English.

Cozy beer garden, nice service and down to earth good and cheap food. What more do you want 😁

great location, good food, no competition for miles that side of the Neckar

The outside terrace with the view looks very nice, yet we were not allowed to sit there and have our bikes next to us. Since we didn't have bike locks to leave them outside the territory we were told to leave. While the policy of the of the establishment could be understood, the staff was extremely rude and offensive dealing with us.

Cozy place

This restaurants location right on the river neckar with a nice outside beer garden is very inviting. I is situated on the main bike path to Ladenburg to Heidelberg It makes a great stop for a cold drink especially in the summer. Most of the time the staff is friendly but when it is busy you need to order and wait.
